Starbucks announced last week they will begin blocking all porn sites while using their Wifi…. now maybe I am just not enough of an outside the box thinker but first thing that came to my mind was “who the hell watches porn at Starbucks!?” Apparently there are several people throughout the world who use the Wifi for this judging by it being bad enough to need to put a website blocker up. Has to be a certain kind of person though right? You all know the type, the type who could never get laid on their own, even if they paid for it (not me describing Andy).
Why Starbucks? Is it maybe not them specifically that people set out to watch porn there, maybe they just happen to have decent free Wifi so that is the choice. Maybe they are just the most readily available locations. I would think you would want to use free Wifi from a place with a little privacy, not a place with scolding hot coffee everywhere. However, now I will always feel a little safer answering yes when they ask “would you like cream in that”.
It is sad and pathetic that we live in the kind of world that a public restaurant has to block pornographic websites. I just want to make it very clear, if you are one of the people who watch porn at a public location such as a Starbucks, you sir/m’am are disgusting and should seek help immediately.
