KYLE’S MONEY SHOT CFB BOWL WEEK 1/NFL WEEK 15

Howdy Gang! Hope all the readers out there are having a great week and are ready not only for a great weekend, but also the start of bowl season! Most folks say “‘Tis the season” this time of year talking about the holidays, but us real ones know that it’s really because of college football bowl season! Here’s a quick recap of last week:

Above .500! Woohoo!! We’ve got to celebrate the little victories here on the Money Shot blog. Let’s get right into this weekend shall we?

Thursday – Chiefs @ Raiders

This is one of those “I’ve just got a feeling” bets and I’ve just got that feeling of a Thursday Night Over! Points! Over 52.5

Friday – Middle Tennessee vs Toldeo

Bahamas Bowl – Toledo is somehow the best MAC program of the past decade but has only won the MAC once in that stretch, I think it’s because if you win the MAC you don’t get to play in the Bahama’s bowl, Smart move by the folks in Toledo, Ohio to get a trip to the Bahamas if you ask me! Toledo -10.5

Saturday – Fresno St. vs UTEP

New Mexico Bowl – UTEP was a nice little story to start the season but Fresno is just a much better team. Also UTEP has been to the New Mexico bowl two previous times in the program’s history and they lost both, seems like a trend. Fresno -11.5

Saturday – UAB vs BYU

Independence Bowl – BYU is the vastly superior team, they were able to keep head coach Kalani Sitake after Oregon was giving him a look. Ranked No. 13, BYU will be the highest-ranked team to play in an Independence Bowl in the game’s 45-year history. BYU getting snubbed by a better bowl seems like it would give the team some motivation to really lay into UAB, and since they can’t lay into any of the female students on campus, UAB will have to do. BYU -7

Saturday – ULL vs Marshall

New Orleans Bowl – The Ragin’ Cajuns are 3-1 in their last four games against the spread and can post the first 12-win season in program history. Quarterback Levi Lewis is one of the most dynamic playmakers in the country, and the Thundering Herd will have a hard time slowing him down.  Louisiana no longer has Billy Napier as coach (Florida), but the new head coach, former assistant Michael Desormeaux, makes the transition smooth. Also, I won’t be caught dead betting against the Ragin’ Cajuns in the New Orleans Bowl, that’s just some bad juju! Louisiana -5

I don’t want to brag, but the Money Shot has won two weeks in a row! And if there’s one thing I know for certain, there is nothing more dangerous than a Hot Money Shot! Let’s ride!

**Sunday – Bengals at Broncos**

The Bengals surprisingly have a much better record on the road (4-2) than at home (3-4), so them being on the road actually makes me feel better about this game. This feels like a great bounceback spot for the team after God’s Gift to Earth Joe Burrow looked just fine in the 49ers game despite a finger injury. Must win for the Bengals, and must win for the Money Shot! Bengals +2.5

That’s all I’ve got! Good luck to everyone out there! Have a great Holiday Season! Don’t forget to comment, tweet at me, or DM me with any comments, criticisms, or locks you have!
