Kyle’s Money Shot – CFB Week 3/NFL Week 2

Howdy again there everyone! Hope you have a had a wonderful week and are ready to scratch that gambling itch as we get into another weekend! But first let’s take a look back at last weekend.

Not a great overall record, but we did have two kick-in-the-dick losses by 1 point or less (Panthers won by 5, Bears/Rams total was 48) but the Money Shot did hit! And on a game winning field goal from the South Carolina Gamecocks nonetheless! I know we all love to watch a Money Shot from the Cocks. (Yes I have been waiting to type that line out ever since I started this silly gambling blog, thank you to everyone who made my dreams cum come true)

Now lets get into the slate for this weekend!

Thursday – Ohio @ Louisiana Lafayette (-20)

Love any football game involving two teams from America’s premier college football conferences, the MAC and the Sun Belt. Some There’s nothing quite like some Thursday night MAC-tion in the Fun Belt, it just doesn’t get any better! These two teams have had awfully similar starts to their seasons. Ohio and ULL both lost to Power Five programs in Week 1 before struggling against FCS opponents in Week 2. Ohio lost 28-26 to Duquesne, and the Cajuns squeaked past Nicholls 27-24 despite giving up 511 yards of offense. While it is hard for me to bet against the team named the Ragin Cajun’s, this is just too many points. Ohio +20

Thursday – New York Giants @ Washington Football Team (-3)

It was sad to see Fitz-magic go down with a hip injury last week but now with Washington coming off of a short week, I don’t know if Taylor Heinicke will have enough first team reps to get things done against this Giants defense. On the other side of the ball the Giants found some offensive success against a solid Broncos defense last week. Look for a rebound game for New York and Daniel Jones, who just so happens to be a perfect 4-0 against Washington. Giants +3

Saturday – Virginia Tech @ West Virginia (-3)

Wild times in Blacksburg as coach Justin Fuente has pulled off upset wins over Virginia to end the 2020 season and UNC to open 2021. Virginia Tech has looked good recently so I’ll take the 15th ranked team in the country getting some points on the road. Virginia Tech +3

Saturday – Coastal Carolina @ Buffalo (+13.5)

Buffalo does not appear to be the high powered offense they were a year ago after losing to Nebraska 28-3 last week. Meanwhile Coastal Carolina has been a betting man’s dream lately, this season and last they are 10-2-1 against the spread, that’s an incredible stretch! They run a fun, wild variant of the option that is hard to stop and they never take their foot off the gas pedal. Coastal Carolina -13.5

Saturday – Purdue @ Notre Dame (-8)

The Purdue Boilermakers are 2-0 and I will not apologize for it! Purdue is 2-0 ATS this season and Notre Dame is 0-2 ATS and the Irish have not looked good against clearly inferior opponents Toledo and Florida State (how about FSU’s Hail Mary loss to Jacksonville State, what an all time WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING MOMENT) So why not, I’m ready to be hurt. Bring it on. Purdue +8

Saturday – Alabama @ Florida (+14)

Florida fans and coaches are busy trying to figure out who should start at QB, Emory Jones or Anthony Richardson, and quite frankly, it wont matter. Because while they are worried about that, Nick Saban has wasted zero time ripping into his team with talks of rat poison and hard work and will be planning on not just beating Florida, but breaking their soul. Don’t overthink this one. Alabama -14

Saturday – Tulsa @ Ohio State (-25)

I love this spot for Ohio State. They kind of struggled against Minnesota week 1 and lost to Oregon last week. Now they finally get a crack at a clearly lesser team in Tulsa and I expect them to take out a lot of anger on this team and show no Mercy. Now that they have a loss, style points will matter if they have any hopes of getting into the Playoffs. Ohio State -25

We are going to take a quick break from our normal programming and dive into an exciting new segment inside of the Kyle’s Money Shot Blog. OUR FIRST EVER GUEST PICKER! The next two picks are brought to you courtesy of fellow Opinion Anonymous member Tyler’s dog Piper. Let’s see who she likes!

Just some electric content out of Piper and Tyler here. Can’t wait to see more of them in the future! (No this doesn’t count as Tyler’s first blog so reach out and tell him what he should blog about!)

Boise State -4.5 & BYU +2.5

Sunday – Bengals @ Bears (-2.5)

If you haven’t been checking out the Bengals blogs from our Fearless Leader Cousin Luke, you should. I consider myself a Bengals fan, but I am nowhere near the die-hard that Luke is. This one’s for him! Bengals +2.5

Sunday – Cowboys @ Chargers (-3)

I gotta be honest, I was impressed by the Cowboys in week 1. They took the defending champs down to the wire. Dak looked pretty good and their defense was much improved from last year. The Cowboys offense should put up points in every game, especially if offensive lineman Zack Martin is back as expected. Also, no one in Los Angeles watches sports so any “home field advantage” the Chargers would have is probably non-existent. Also, say what you want about Cowboys fans, but they are EVERYWHERE, so this will probably sound more like a Dallas home game in the stands. Give me the Cowboys +3

Sunday – Chiefs @ Ravens

Couple of strong offenses, couple of meh defenses. Fuck it, lets root for some points! Over 54.5

Sunday – Lions @ Packers (-11)

Woof, the Packers looked like dogshit in week 1 and the Lions are well, the Lions. I imagine the Packers will play better and win this game, but I just get the feeling this is one where the Packers are up about 17 all game and then the Lions score a last minute TD and only lose by 10. Also Aaron Rodgers may or may not be trying to sabotage the Packers from the inside, we will continue to pay attention to this. Lions +11

And now, get ready for the climax of the week, the Money Shot!

** Saints @ Panthers (+3.5)**

If you scroll up to the top you will see I lost every NFL bet except for one last week. The only thing I was right about was my boy Jameis Mother Fuckin’ Winston being a stud to start the year! I will use the same reasoning this week as I did last week (and for the foreseeable future) JAMEIS WINSTON HAS WORKING EYES FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIS LIFE! If he was good enough to win the Heisman and make it to the NFL while playing blind, he will be the MVP this year. Lead us to the Promised Land, Jameis. Saints -3.5

Good luck to everyone and as always thank you for reading! It always brings me joy to hear from the readers. I was back home for a wedding last weekend and ran into a couple of buddies that I hadn’t seen in a while and we talked about the Money Shot and gambling and that’s the beauty of all this, it brings us closer together. Sports Betting is how us adult males can maintain years-long friendships without actually talking about our feelings or anything important, we just bond over all the terrible bets we’ve lost! So as always, comment, tweet at me, or DM me with any comments, criticisms, or locks you have!

Whether you are fading or following, Let’s Get Rich! Love you guys!
