Here we are folks, it’s a new year! So let me start of by saying Happy New Year! The start of a new year is always a fun time because everyone is so full of hope and optimism. I am hopeful and optimistic that 2020 will be the year of the blog. I was also optimistic that I was going to write this blog on the first of the year, but as is tradition the new year hangover seemed to have got the best of me and I was horizontal most of the day. But in the theme of being hopeful and optimistic we will look at the bright side and the bright side to the infamous New Years hangover is that if you feel that bad to start it, your year can only get better. So here we are on the 2nd, I’m currently on my way to beautiful Las Vegas. Those of you who know me know that I’m a bit of a degenerate, so this should be a fun time.
I’ve never been before so I am losing my Vegas virginity and I’ve got to tell you that I couldn’t be more excited! I’m assuming it will have a few similarities to losing my actual virginity: drunk and not entirely sure what’s going to happen, but I will give it a great effort and try not to embarrass myself! But anyway since it’s the New Year I’m sure everyone is making their resolutions. Good luck with yours whatever it may be. But rather than make mine something silly like “eat better” or “exercise” I think this year I’m going to make mine to Shoot My Shot more often. For those of you not familiar with the Shooters Shoot lifestyle, it’s basically a more fun way of saying go for it. I hope for all of us 2020 is the year that you look back on and say “I shot my shot and it was awesome” so why not folks, let’s just go for it this year.
