Music \u2013 it\u2019s one of two things, right?\u00a0 It\u2019s either something that is boring and you don\u2019t care or it\u2019s your LIFE.\u00a0 No in betweens.\u00a0 Music is so powerful for me.\u00a0 I used to be super into music and then life takes over and music disappears but I still try to stay connected.\u00a0 Let\u2019s take a quick recap on my music life and then I\u2019m going to leave you with some of my current favorites for your listening (dis)pleasure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So I\u2019ve always really enjoyed music.\u00a0 Ever since I went with my mom to one of her friend\u2019s house and got my first EVER burnt CD.\u00a0It was from a girl.\u00a0 A GIRL MADE ME A MIXTAPE.\u00a0 Let that sink in.\u00a0 It had Devil Went Down to Georgia on it.\u00a0 It was fire.\u00a0I was meant to marry that girl (I didn\u2019t).\u00a0 I did; however, make mixtapes for girls until I finally met my soulmate.\u00a0 Thank you Limewire.\u00a0 Then, then it happened.\u00a0 I met Craig Storie.\u00a0 He claims to be a fan of the podcast but then he really just doesn\u2019t ever come around.\u00a0Is he a fan?\u00a0 Is he a poser?\u00a0 Hard to say.\u00a0But Craig introduced me to REAL music.\u00a0He had a website.\u00a0 He posted music and had fans.\u00a0 He was my idol (editor\u2019s note \u2013 pick better idols).\u00a0 But music became a large part of my life.\u00a0 I still love music and some people don\u2019t get it \u2013 I understand but damnit are you missing out.\u00a0 I mean look \u2013 you thought people were missing out on pedicures?\u00a0What about when a good song comes on?\u00a0Look \u2013 you\u2019ve never heard of any of these songs.\u00a0 I guarantee it (my music taste is like my movie taste.\u00a0 You\u2019ve never heard of it and will hate it \u2013 but give me a chance here \u2013 Triangle was decent, right?!).\u00a0 Let\u2019s get to it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camila<\/a> \u2013 this is the one you\u2019ve heard of \u2013 if any.\u00a0 I\u2019ve been high on Bazzi since his days of Honest and Mine (Day One Ish right there).\u00a0 But there\u2019s something about this song.\u00a0 When Camila jumps in on verse 2.\u00a0 Damn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Dean Lewis \u2013 Be Alright<\/a> \u2013 this is just powerful.\u00a0 I mean it\u2019s not even happy \u2013it\u2019s just like damn, I got you Dean.\u00a0You\u2019re in a tough spot \u2013 we\u2019ve all been there, right?\u00a0 Vibe out to this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ruel \u2013 Younger<\/a> \u2013 I don\u2019t even know where this song came from.\u00a0 I listened to it 4 times in a row the first time I heard it and just vibed the fuck out.\u00a0 Seriously, if you only listen to one song on this list (for one, you suck\u2026.but) make sure it\u2019s this one.\u00a0 We can all relate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
