Thankful for Thanksgiving

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, easily one of the top 3 holidays (#1 for my fatass) which means we take time to give thanks for all the blessings we have in our lives.  I have taken the liberty to speak on behalf of the members of Opinions Anonymous  about what each of them should be thankful for this year.

Luke – That the movie club has thus far lasted 3 weeks longer than anyone could have expected (although I’m 2 movies behind personally)

Andy – That tomorrow means the best day of the year for him, turkey giblet day.  Obviously his cat should make this list too, that cat is the only thing keeping him company day in and day out.

Kyle – That tomorrow brings all day football to gamble on, always best when you can be a degenerate surrounded by loved ones.  (His family is likely using the holiday as a setting for an intervention)

Rookie – That he has found a female willing to marry him (pretty sure even Kyle wouldn’t have taken that bet)

Travis – That he will get to be back in the hometown to possibly (probably) black out in familiar bars instead of bars 2 states away.

Joe – He’s a recent father for the first time…. OK so maybe Joe is currently just set up for the misery a couple of us already know.

Me – Pretty sure I covered this in the opening, my fatass gets to eat all day tomorrow with none of the cooking or cleaning falling on my shoulders.

Joey – That he even made this list for being involved in something he clearly is never involved in, could there be a more useless “member”??

All seriousness though we all have a ton to be thankful for (even Andy) and this time of the year should really help to bring that all in focus as you are surrounded by loved ones enjoying the company of family you may not get to see as often as you would like (or maybe twice a year is too much).

From all of us at Opinions Anonymous we would like to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. Looks good Luke! Can’t wait to try it out and then bring the leftovers for lunch! Also you should bring this to Thanksgiving.
